Privacy Policy

Overview
Gmail Label & Filter Manager ("the extension") is designed to respect your privacy. This policy describes what data the extension uses and where it is stored.
Data we do not collect
We do not operate a server that receives or stores your personal data. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your email content, labels, filters, or any other account information.
Data used by the extension
- Google account — You sign in with Google to access Gmail labels and filter settings. Authentication is handled by Google OAuth. We only request the scopes needed for managing labels and settings (
gmail.labels,gmail.settings.basic). - Local storage — Preferences, saved keywords, and similar data are stored locally in your browser via the Chrome extension storage API. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Gmail API — The extension communicates with Google's Gmail API to read and update your labels and filters. That communication is between your browser and Google; we do not see or store it.
Third parties
Google provides authentication and the Gmail API. Their use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The extension does not send your data to any other third parties.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
